Alan Ruschel was among the three football players that survived the Chapocoense Plane crash in 2016, the crash  that claimed lives 71 out of the 77 passengers on board the the LaMia Flight 2933.

Four years on, Ruschel bounced back and helped his Club side to win the Serie B title in remarkable a fashion.

He made a remarkable recovery and was able to walk again days after undergoing surgery to make full recovery.

It took him nine months to get back into shape to play football again he however featured in a Joan Gamper Trophy clash against Barcelona.

Ruschel made a remarkable achievement in 2021 for lifting the Serie B trophy after his Club wont Serie B in a dramatic circumstances.
